TikTok is a platform primarily used for sharing video content, so it is no surprise that photographers are using the platform to share their creative work. Personally, we love the work photographers have been sharing on TikTok and we think that many of them deserve far more followers than they currently have. This article lists 10 of our favourite TikTok photographers, many of who are relatively unheard of but produce great content.
1. Rileyzpix
If you enjoyed our article on TikTok photography trends then you will definitely admire the work that Rileyzpics produces. This account produces a variety of content that can be used as inspiration as they post many creative ideas. Rileyzpics currently has 79k followers but has amassed over 1 million likes due to the quality of the content that they produce.
2. Venturesofavirgo
Venturesofavirgo, or Veronica as stated on her TikTok, produces some great photography content based on her travels around the US. For someone with less than 3000 followers, Veronica’s work is extremely high-quality and is definitely worth following. The TikTok that we have picked from this account shows the surreal scenery that you can find in national parks.
3. Arielfocus
As we said, we have included creators of all sizes in this list so it’s finally time to mention someone with a huge following. That account being Arielfocus, a photographer with over 2 million followers on TikTok. Their work various but primarily involves photography tricks/edits along with providing the behind-the-scenes footage so that their viewers can attempt it their self. Overall, a great account to follow.
4. Tomstravels
As the guys here at Snapshot are from Scotland, we felt it would be rude not to include some fellow Scottish creators. Firstly, we have Tomstravels, an account which recently has been posting a lot of content up the North of Scotland but has travelled the world as seen by their biography. Tom offers something different to this list as his photography consists of a mix of methods including drone shot, and mainly of historical sites which is a nice change.
5. Amybrennan98
Our next Scottish representative in this list comes in the form of amybrennan98, a young photographer from the west coast of Scotland. Amy posts some great content based on her travels around Scotland and we especially appreciate the amazing sunsets that she manages to capture. At this time, Amy has less than 2000 followers, but we would not be surprised if she gains much more as her content deserves to be seen by a huge audience. Definitely worth a follow for those who love sunsets!
6. Piercematy
Pierce Maty is another content creator who deserves far more followers than he currently has. The first time we saw Pierce’s work was through the form of the video below, a truly stunning video capturing some of his travels in Switzerland. His content features a lot of traveling and some even better photography along the way. For those who enjoy travelling content and wish to discover new places then we recommend you give this account a follow.
7. Andrewahi
We now jump back to some of the photographers with large followings, starting with Andrewahi who has nearly 500k followers. Andrew is an experienced photographer that produces really high-quality content, but we have included him on this list for a different reason. Andrew posts videos that show his viewers the exact camera and settings that he uses so that they too can try at home. By looking at his account it seems that many of his shots are produced using the Sony Alpha 7, a great camera for those interested. We think this is great and it is certainly an account worth following for those who wish to improve their photography skills.
8. Cnhphotography
The largest creator that has made our list is Cnhphotography or Chris for short. Chris has gained over 4 million followers, and deservedly so! The content produced on the account varies but we particularly like the videos that show the setup to the images that he has captured. In this video below, he shows how he managed to capture some insane photos using the OnePlus 9 Pro – a camera that we covered in a previous article!
9. Ashlynburnsphotography
Ashlyn Burns is a young American photographer who currently has just under 90k followers. Her work is outstanding, and she also shows the setup to the majority of her shots which we appreciate. By taking a quick scroll down Ashlyn’s account, you can see the improvements and developments of her photography, and it’s fair to say we are extremely impressed. We hope to see more of her work in the near future and we hope you too follow her account to keep up with her content.
10. Photosbyreem
Finally, we have photosbyreem. Reem is an excellent photographer and offers something completely different from the others on this list. Reem manages to capture some really heart-warming content by taking photos for special events such as proposals, weddings, and maternity shoots. His work is truly incredible, and we love the fact that the photos he has taken will mean even more to those who feature in them. For those wanting wholesome content, it’s simple, follow this account.
